Anne Celeste Heche was an American actress who was known for her performances across a range of categories in the film and television the theater. Anne Lockhart (born Anne Kathleen Maloney September 6 1953) is an American actress. She is most well-known for her character of Lieutenant Sheba from the Battlestar Galactica television series (1978-1979). She is daughter of actress June Lockhart. Her professional journey began in the beginning. Her first appearance came aged four, when she starred in T is for Tumbleweed. The film was a short one on the topic was selected for the Oscar Awards. There is widespread belief that Anne rejected the role as Laurie Strode for John Carpenter's Halloween, a film from 1978. Jaime Lee Curtis was cast in its place. John. Carpenter says that he was interested in her playing the character however she decided to turn the offer down. Anne doesn't remember John Carpenter contacting her or suggesting the role. Maybe one of her agents declined the role for her, but without informing her. Glen Larson, who had sent her the very first draft script of a character in the tv show Battlestar Galactica from 1978, at first, she was chosen. She originally rejected the position because she felt the character was weak. Glen then wrote a script for her that featured the strong character Sheba. She embraced the Living Legend's script after she read its first 25 pages. The show ran for just one season. The actress was in Joyride the 1977 film with Desi Arnaz Jr. Melanie Griffith Robert Carradine (son Desi Arnaz Jr. Lucille and Lucille) and alongside Robert Carradine. In 1987 she appeared in a co-production with Michael Moriarty and The Dark Tower.
